OZZY OSBOURNE: 'Black Rain' On Track To Sell 125K Copies In U.S.
May 29, 2007According to Hits Daily Double, OZZY OSBOURNE's "Black Rain" is poised to sell around 125,000 copies in the United States during its first week of release to debut in the Top 3 of next week's The Billboard 200 chart. This number is slightly lower than the 153,000 first-week tally registered by 2001's "Down to Earth", which entered the Billboard chart at No. 4.

Ozzy Osbourne's first studio album of all-new material in six years, "Black Rain", was reportedly the first album Ozzy wrote and recorded while completely clean and sober.
The singer will headline this summer's "free" Ozzfest, beginning on July 12 in Seattle.
Fans who purchase specially marked copies of "Black Rain" will have a first shot at scoring Ozzfest tickets via a code included with the album.
Osbourne will be the first person inducted into the new Birmingham Walk of Stars, which will honor the British city's most famous sons and daughters. Osbourne's induction ceremony will be held on July 6.
